Thank you for taking the time to study the Trainer Toolkit for the Safe Towing Scheme. Your training organisation is going through due process to become a Safe Towing Scheme Approved Training Centre. Part of the approvals process is for all trainers to study the Trainer Toolkit and complete a short theory quiz.

The following course is designed to:

  • Introduce the scheme and how it works
  • Familiarise trainers with the syllabus
  • Map out the candidate (trainee) journey
  • Explain Approved Centre and Approved Trainer roles and responsibilities
  • Help you reflect on any knowledge acquired via a theory test at the end of the course*
